Irvington Enrichment Programming

Enjoy a variety of specialty classes at your local schools. Classes available in dance, drama, science, sports and many more. Classes currently offered in the Irvington and Croton Harmon School Districts. Registration Information In an effort to be responsive to our Irvington parents, all registration forms should be either mailed to or dropped off with the site coordinators in your child's school.  Please mark all registration forms to the attention of “Enrichment Program.”  Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis.  Registration forms will not be accepted until the earliest date they are due.  You will be contacted to confirm your child's participation during the confirmation week.  Registration and confirmation dates are listed within each individual registration packet.  Please DO NOT CALL prior to your confirmation week. 

Please note:  classes take place at Dows Lane (we are currently not offering enrichment for Main Street School).   Program Runs (when school is in session): Monday Classes, October 16 - December 4, 2017, make up day December 18 and Thursday Classes, October 19 - December 14, make up day December 21.

Enrollment:  Classes require a minimum enrollment to operate.  If a class does not meet minimum enrollment requirements we will make every effort to place your child in a similar class.  Please be advised that late registration greatly affects our ability to run classes.

Payment: The YMCA accepts the following types of payment: Check, Money Order or Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover & American Express - and we do need the Security Code from the back of the card).  Separate checks are required for each class your child is taking.  The YMCA does NOT accept Cash.

Refunds: Program Fees are refunded for requests made up to one week prior to the first day of classes, for classes the YMCA cancels, and for documented medical reasons.  Except in cases where the YMCA cancels a class, a $10 processing fee is charged for all refunds.  There are no refunds for weather- related, school closings.

Scholarship AidDAYCARE/AFTER SCHOOL CARE/CAMP financial aid application Scholarships are available to all economically eligible children.   If your child currently receives free or reduced lunch at his/her school, you may not need to fill out a financial aid applicationFor more information please contact Melissa Weaver, ext 106.

Class Cancellations:  At times instructors cancel classes due to illnesses or an unforeseen event.  Every effort will be made to provide a sub that is competent in the area of the class that is being offered.  If a sub can not be found we will either provide a Group Games class or place children in an existing class of their choice.  If your child's school closes or cancels after school activities for any reason there will be no enrichment program on that day and no refunds will be given.
