Scholarship Fund

Men, women and youth of all ages are welcome to participate in YMCA programs and activities, regardless of age, gender, race, faith or nationality. The Family YMCA at Tarrytown is a local charity that receives no funding from the National YMCA.  We rely on generous contributions from members and friends, corporate and foundation grants, and monies raised at our special events to provide member assistance through our Scholarship Fund.  Member assistance is provided to all income-qualified families and individuals, and is a key element of our mission.  Please contact Gerry Riera at (914) 631-4807 ext. 17, for more information.

Family YMCA at Tarrytown 13th Annual Golf Outing to support YMCA Scholarship Fund - September 24, 2007

Event Sponsor:  Community Preservation Corporation

With Corporate Support From:  Segel, Goldman, Mazzotta & Siegel, P.C.

This year's event raised over $54,000 of direct scholarship aid for children and families, and was the most successful golf outing we've ever experienced.  Many thanks to our 13th Annual Golf Committee members, our live auctioneer Bruce Campbell, and the many golfers, sponsors, auction item donors and purchasers who made the event so successful, as well as to Brae Burn Country Club for its beautiful golf course and lovely dinner event.

Next year's event is scheduled for September 22, 2008 at Brae Burn Country Club

To participate, contact Barbara Turk at (914) 631-4807 ext. 19
