Annual Report
Every May, the Family YMCA at Tarrytown holds its annual meeting, usually at a local restaurant. During the annual meeting, we honor those volunteers who have truly gone "above and beyond" for our Y and its members. Our Board of Directors comprises individuals who give enormous amounts of time, talent and treasure to overseeing the mission and guarding the financial health of our charitable organization. Other examples of dedicated volunteers who have attended the festivities as our guests include the people who design and create the centerpieces and auction presentation for each of our annual Y Masquerade Balls and the people who volunteer in our Childcare classrooms. This year's celebration was again at J.P. Doyle's with over 45 volunteers and staff. We celebrated two long time volunteers, Mary Lazin and Vera Zamdmer for their 10+ year dedication to the Y's Annual Masquerade Ball with a plaque and a certificate of appreciation from Senator Peter Harckham. 2018 Annual Report
social responsibility
The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a global nonprofit. It is only through the support of our hundreds of thousands of volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to the communities we engage.
