NY ALLIANCE EQUITY STATEMENT - PLEASE READ

As a statewide movement, the YMCAs in New York State unequivocally believe that equity and justice are the rights of everyone. We stand in solidarity with African American and Black communities across our state and nation in grieving the loss of too many Black and Brown men and women who have been killed.

Y CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Dear Members and Supporters of our YMCA,

 

Governor Cuomo announced earlier today that all gyms must close until further notice as of 8 pm tonight as part of a tristate effort to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Although, we consider ourselves more than a “gym”, we fall under his definition and must comply with his mandate.

Please note our Y Early Learning Center will remain open during this time as it is a necessary service to the families we serve.

Dear Y Member/Participant:

As a follow- up to our recent communication about the coronavirus I want to bring to your attention to the Family YMCA at Tarrytown’s efforts to keep our members and employees healthy and safe. 

 

Effective 3.12.2020 we have instituted a temporary policy limiting access to the facility to members only.   This means that until further notice our Y will not be accessible to:

Y DANCE HELPS CELEBRATE LOCAL HERO'S 99TH BIRTHDAY

On Friday, January 17th Y Dance helped celebrate local hero World War II Veteran  Chick Galella's 99th birthday @ Sleep Hollow Middle School.  The dancers under the direction of Y Dance Director, Cindy Guzman helped make a special day even brighter performing and dancing with Chick.  Check out the coverage on News12!

The Family YMCA at Tarrytown has a great gift for you or someone you love. Try out the Y for 30 days - for just $30! You have until January 31st to start this promotional membership. Or you can sign up for a regular membership anytime in December and we will waive the $100 initiation fee.

11TH ANNUAL MASQUERADE BALL

This past Friday, the Family YMCA at Tarrytown hosted its 11th annual Masquerade Ball honoring the Rivertown Runners and their President and Co-Founder Todd Ruppel with the Laurance S. Rockefeller award for their commitment to the community. Over 150 guests enjoyed a night of dining and dancing, plus a live and silent auction during the grooviest party of the season!  Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event!
