This past Sunday the Family YMCA at Tarrytown's Healthy Kids Day and Rotary's Duck Derby hosted the 16th annual community-friend-raiser at Patriot's Park. We had a great turnout and over 500 children enjoyed rides, face painting, arts & crafts, Duck Races, Y Dance and Cheer performances and more. Families stopped by all of the event vendors and sampled some great food from the Hope Hose Company No. 1 and Conqueror Hook and Ladder No. 1 of the Tarrytown Fire Department BBQ , New England's Finest Lobster Truck, Duck Donuts and Jimmy's Soft Serve. Thank you to our amazing staff, Y Board Members, Y Cheer and Dance participants and supporters: Fun Flatables, Greenfield Plumbing and Barrier Contracting for being ride sponsors, DW Balloon Boutique and Party Store for your generous donation of balloons, and of course our Event Sponsor, Putnam County Savings Bank!
