The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our hundreds of thousands of volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to the communities we engage.
Y ELC Staff
Congratulations to Brittany Daniel, Almalin Rodriguez, Claudia Salazar, and Doraliz Rodriguez for being selected to participate in the Child Care Council of Westchester’s CDA Program starting this March. We applaud your dedication and commitment to further your growth and development as a teacher in the Y ELC.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education (ECE) and is a key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in ECE. The CDA is based on a core set of competency standards, which guide early care professionals as they work toward becoming qualified Lead Teachers of young children.
