Y Theatre Arts

We build theatre by breaking boundaries between writers, actors, directors, designers, dancers and musicians, bringing them together to create authentic, innovative pieces for performance.

Y Theatre Arts offers  youth theatre for WI students, twice a year at Washington Irving School, now in its 16th year.  This is a grant funded program, made possible by The Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, St Faith's House Foundation, Miles Hodsdon Vernon Foundation, Kids Club of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow, and the Y.   For more information about Y Theatre Arts, contact  Cindy Guzman @ cindyg@ymcatarrytown.org or 914-631-4807 ext. 114.

Our fun fall production was held on December 6, an Original Musical Revue:  Life in the Woods, written and directed by Nancy Seabold.  22 students acted, sang and danced in the production. Choreography by Brianna Luciano of Y Dance in Tarrytown.
